Options to book a table on behalf of another person/party

The Booked By or Booked On Behalf Of feature enables bookings to have a distinction between the customer (person that will be seated at the venue) and the person making the booking (Booked By). This is useful for when an organiser is making multiple bookings for different people or group bookings being made by an external company.

Venues can have the Booked By feature enabled in 2 different variations:

• On the Diary only

• On both the Diary and Widget

Enabling Booked By

To enable Booked By for your account, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Restaurant Admin page
2. On the left sidebar, select Diary Settings
3. Check the box for New Customer Form
   Note: Booked By is only available with the New Customer Form active. If New Customer Form has not been turned on for your account, please contact your account manager or reach out to support here.
4. Check the boxes for Booked By in the Diary and Booked By in the Widget
   
   
5. Hit Save to proceed
