Booking Options Settings - Diary

Booking options can be added to Services and events and to alert customers about seating options, the availability of set menus and other packages that they may wish to select during the bookings process. To set up Bookings Options:

1. Select Booking Options from the Diary settings menu list.

2. Select the + button in the top right to create a new Booking Option.

3. Enter in a Payment Type or select No Payment Type if you want customers to see a note that they must click on and agree to.

4. Enter in the Name of the Booking Option

5. Enter in Widget label and how you would like this displayed to customers in the Widget to select

6. Enter in the Widget Description you want displayed to customers via the Widget, again you add flyers, photos etc

7. Add Menus in the Menu link area, these menus will need to be stored on gDrive, Dropbox etc to be accessible to the customers. If long urls are generated from these sites you can use a tool like below to shorten https://tinyurl.com/?utm_source=zapier.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=zapier

8. Add a Tag to identify in the Diary when someone has booked and selected this Booking Option.

9. Add any child booking options that you may want to attach the booking option you are creating.

A Child Booking Option is directly related to the item. For example, a Burger may have a Child Booking Option of Extra Bacon

An Individual Booking Option is an item that is not directly related to the item, but can be added as an extra, as an example of this could be large fries and coke

The Standalone Item allows you to select whether or not this is visible as a booking option by itself. For example you may wish to select fries as a standalone, so that customers may order a side of fries by itself, or you could choose to uncheck that and allow customers to only have fries when ordering a burger.

10. Select Save to save your Booking Option

11. This Booking option can now be added to the Schedule and Services
