Creating Complimentary Gift Cards
This article will walk you through the steps to create an Complimentary Gift Card.
- Navigate to the Admin Portal and select your venue. Scroll down Gift Cards > Management on the left-hand side. .
- On the top right of the Management Portal you have 5 buttons, The fourth 'Issue a gift card' button.

- From the 'Payment Type' drop down menu, Select the Complimentary option.

- Select the type of gift card you'd like to offer as complimentary from the dropdown menu. If the gift card value doesn't appear, you'll need to create it by going to the Types tab and adding that amount, then come back to this screen to continue.
- Select Next and the following window will appear:

- Enter your details. Then, add the information of the person or organisation you’d like to issue the complimentary gift card to.
- Select Next and you will be taken to the summary page to review.
- Select confirm on the bottom right hand side of the screen to issue card/s. Cards will be issued and will now appear listed in the management portal, ready for redemption. They will be identified as complimentary in the system , as pictured below.

Types
In this area you're able to configure the types of Gift cards that you would like to offer (eGift Cards, Gift Card Experience and Physical).
- Go to 'Setup' under Gift cards. Select Gift card types from the options along the top. The following window will appear:

- Select the + Create new card type button in the top right side to start adding new cards

- Enter in the Type of card you wish to add (electronic or physical). Status should be set to active (this can be changed to deactivate cards at any time).
- Enter in a monetary value for the card ($25, $50, $100 etc.)/.
- Enter an expiry date for the card.
- Select Save.
- Repeat this process to add all the gift card values that you would like to sell.
