Floor Plan - Diary

The floor plan section shows a birds eye table layout view of your venue. This is a static floor plan that you can customise to suit your needs.
Your layouts each have a unique floor plan that are visible in the diary floor plan view. So if you have, say, four alternate layouts for your restaurant and they are all attached to the section called Front Bar, you will also have four unique floor plans for this section.
To set up your floorplans:

  1. Go to the Diary settings and select Floor Plan.


You will see the floor plans for each section in your venue. These need to be edited and configures separately before you can assemble the overarching floor plan.

2. If your floor plans have not yet been configured, you will see this:

3. Select the floor plan to configure it. The follow screen will open and from here you can drag and drop tables to set up each of your sections.


Note: this must be configured in landscape view not portrait.


4. Select the tables in the grid or in the side bar to open the edit window. From here you can change tables details, capacity, shape of table and seating.


5. To change seating, use section below.

6. Enter the number of seats that you would like per table into the boxes. Use the central button to move the table counter clockwise.

7. Select Done when you have finished editing the table.

8. Select Save in the bottom right corner once you have made all the changes to your floor plan and all tables are in the grid.

9. You can add structures like walls, doors and windows to individual floor plans as well as the overall floor plan when combining them all together.

10. Select the icons shown below to toggle back and forth between structures and tables.

11. Drag the structures in to the grid and align them to create your venue In more detail.

12. Select Save to ensure all changes have been saved to the floor plan.

13. Complete the floor plans for all your individual sections.

14. Finally, select the Restaurant Floor Plan button to now join all sections together and configure you overarching floor plan for Restaurant Diary view.

16. Drag into place each of the sections (ensure again that you are doing this in landscape view so all the sections will be visible on all screens).

17. Drag in any structures to complete your floor plan.

18. Select Save.
