      Group Availability Widget

      Show availability at your other venues in the widget

      The ability to have Group Availability Widget (GAW) while making a table booking has been introduced to NBI.

      The purpose of having this is to surface the time slots and availabilities of other venues in the group to the customers so that they can make reservations in any of the sister venues in that group.

      This feature has been designed to be used by bookings created via:

      1. Widget

      This feature has been implemented by maintaining the below configurations settings in admin:

      1. Enable Group Availability for a venue under subscription

      2. Enable Group Availability under diary and select venues to be displayed in GAW list.

      How to create booking for GAW venues?

      1. Search for the main venue in admin

      2. Click on the venue

      3. Click on Booking widget

      4. Ensure that the widget is launched.

      5. Select a date and add pax

      6. Select a service

      7. A time picker should be surfaced against at the top of the other venues in the group so the customer can enter in a time frame to show availability based on that time parameter to the customer - service is not shown here and is handled by the widget. Click on show times and select a time slot

      8. The venues with matching time and closest to the chosen time will be displayed from GAW list of venues. Click on a booking interval for any of the venues in GAW list.

      9. The respective venue widget will be launched and user can create a booking. The pax, date and time information is passed from the original venue to the sister venues

      10.When any interval is not available the SB List button will appear for the original venue, (if configured). SB is not shown for sister venues. Users are not required to enter all the pax, time, date detail again - this will automatically populate to the sister venues widget.

      Configuring GAW Availability

      Venues can configure when GAW will trigger for a customer, based on the percentage of timeslots currently with bookings via a drop down list:

      This feature is set at 25% by default and can be modified with a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 100%. Based on the percentage set on the GAW configuration, the widget will display alternative Venue availability , for example: 

      • I have set my Venue GAW at 50%.

      • My Breakfast service runs from 9 am to 11 am. The timeslots for that service are already 50% reserved. Therefore other venues appear for selection.
