Blockouts - Closed Blockout
How to full block out bookings at a venue.
You might use a closed blockout in instances where the venue is closed for an extended period of time across consecutive days. Unlike other bockouts, a closed blockout allows you to add a customised message on your booking widget that's visible to customers during their booking journey.
To do so, follow the below steps.
1. From your Diary page, click on the three white lines in the top left corner of your screen, and click on Settings.
2. Once in your Settings, click on Blockouts, then the plus sign in the top right hand corner to create a new blockout.
3. Here is where you will give your blockout a name (this is only visible to you), choose your date range, and select the type of blockout as a Closed blockout.
4. Once you have selected it as a Close, it will generate a text box that you can then add a customised message in that will appear for the customer when they are attempting to make a booking.
5. Ensure you click Save at the bottom right hand corner once you've finished adding in your widget message.
