NBI Booking Analytics - Dates & Time Periods
Precise date ranges return faster, more relevant results.
What to ask and how to ask it for best results.
Most queries work best with a date range. Use natural language like "last week", "November 2025", "this quarter", or "last 90 days". Without a date, the system may return all-time data which can be slow.
✅ DO: Be Specific
- Use exact date ranges: "January 1 to January 31, 2025".
- Name specific months: "December 2024".
- Use relative terms clearly: "last week", "yesterday", "this month".
- Specify year when relevant: "Q4 2024" not just "Q4".
❌ AVOID: Vague Timeframes
- "Recently" — Claude doesn't know what this means for your business.
- "A while ago" — Too ambiguous.
- "Last quarter" without specifying which year.
💡 Date Query Examples
Good:
- "Show me bookings from December 2025"
- "How many covers did we have last Tuesday?"
- "No Shows from January 2025"
If you get no results, try:
- Broadening the date range (maybe nothing happened that specific day).
