Public Holiday Surcharges
Notify your customers about any surcharges that apply on upcoming public holidays.
There are two simple ways to let your customers know about an upcoming public holiday surcharge.
Option One:
Create an event for the specific date that replicates the usual service, and include a note in the widget description advising that a public holiday surcharge applies.
Follow this step-by-step guide to create an event: How to Create an Event
Option Two:
Add a policy agreement to your schedule for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with a message such as:
“I understand that a 15% surcharge applies on all public holidays.”
While this message will appear for all bookings on those days, customers will understand that the surcharge only applies if the date falls on a public holiday.
