Sadie - Bookings
Select how you prefer Sadie to handle your venues reservations
The Bookings tab allows you to adjust some settings with how Sadie manages your reservations.
Configurable Settings

Section Selection: Permit Sadie to make reservations in different restaurant sections. When turned on, Sadie will ask callers which section of the venue they prefer to be seated.

Email Required for Reservation: Sadie will require an email from the customer to complete a reservation. We advise only using this if absolutely necessarily - Spelling out your email over the phone can be tricky even for a human. Having Sadie do this for every booking can significantly drive up the minutes customers spend on the phone!

Payment Reservation Allowed: Enable customers to reserve tables by making a payment. This setting should remain toggled on if your venue uses any authorisations, deposits or booking options as it's necessary for Sadie to be able to send out a booking guarantee via SMS in these circumstances.

Allow Sadie to Have the Caller’s Phone Number for Booking: If turned off, Sadie will ask for the customer’s phone number each time instead of remembering it.

Allow Sadie to Send Take Away SMS: If enabled, Sadie will send your venues online ordering link for takeaway via SMS.

Suggested Time Window: Set the time range in minutes to suggest alternative booking times before and after the requested time. E.g. If someone calls to make a booking at 5pm and there is no availability, Sadie can suggest times x minutes before and after the requested time.

Enable Service Cut-Off: Set the amount of time before a service starts that you want Sadie to stop taking reservations - Please note, using this will likely result in a higher unavailability and transfer rate.
