Modify SMS to Customers or the Venue

The SMS settings area allows you to modify what SMS are received by either your customer, or the venue itself.

Customer Notifications

This is set up for both confirmation SMS’s and reminders. When a customer has not confirmed their booking, a confirmation will be sent, however a reminder message will be sent to both confirmed and unconfirmed bookings.

VIP Customer Notification

An SMS can be sent to up to 5 venue/manager mobile numbers when a VIP customer has been seated at the venue. A VIP customer is flagged by adding a VIP tag to the customer profile record.

Additional SMS configuration

This gives the customer the ability to edit or cancel via the SMS notifications they receive.

You can alter the contents of both the confirmation and reminder templates here, however we suggest you do not remove the code that is in the brackets.

This image shows the instant customer SMS notifications sent when a customer makes a booking. This can be setup to ensure the customer is immediately sent a text upon booking. You can also edit the template that gets sent to the customer, however as cautioned above, it is suggested you do not remove the code in the brackets.
