How to use the standby list when you've setup a blockout
Venues utilising the Standby List feature in NBI have the option of enabling the Join Standby button to be displayed to customers on the booking widget when there is a blockout in place for a service. This feature can be enabled/disabled in Admin > Standby List.
Enabling Standby over blockouts

Go to Admin > Standby List and select the ‘Enable Standby over blockout’ checkbox
Note that all other general Standby List configurations are also respected by this feature:

When enabled and a blockout is configured for single tables or sections
The customer will be presented with the following if they select that date:
Venue configuration which will not trigger the Join Standby button
When the Standby over blockouts feature is enabled, the following feautres (if configured for your venue) will not trigger the Join Standby button:

If a day has a ‘Close’ blockout

If Maximum new covers per interval is set to 0

If for custom pax per interval all intervals are set to 0 - if only some intervals in a service are 0 then the Join Standby button will be displayed, but the only times presented will be timeslots that are not set to 0
