How to book walk-ins from the diary
Creating Walk in bookings is done by selecting the Walk in button in either the Diary or the Floor Plan view:
The Walk in button is only available for current bookings in the current service when there is no table availability. This means that you cannot add a Walk in for a future service or a future date.
You can select the Seat For button to immediately place the customer at a table, or you can add them to the waitlist until one becomes available (see more on waitlists here).
Seat Now and Add to Waitlist will open the following window. This streamlined view has less field requirements than the standard Bookings Form, to allow for faster input of information during service. Fields on this form are not mandatory, but it is desirable to obtain the customer's information for future customer tracking and marketing purposes.
